Sorry no blogs lately. Just remembered how to do it. 38 keepers last Tuesday,Aug.14. 5 folks from Boerne with little experience in fishing brushpiles had a great,productive time. More brushpiles have been added over the past 2 months. Strange to be successful when the surface temp is 90 degrees.
Thursday report...43 craps, 1 big perch, 2 flatheads, 3 whites, 2 gasper,1 blue, 1 channel. Not bad the day after a cold front. That's just what we kept; not landed, missed, or broken off.
Saturday report...I took 3 teenagers and their dad/uncle. 34 crappie, 3 flathead, and 1 blue. We had a blast.
Weekend info...Sat. Over 30 craps, only kept a baker's dozen in 3 hours with my family. Today...quit fishing for crappie after a 32" flathead, and switched to gold fish. Another 23" flat and another 19" flat, 3 craps, one white, 3 hours maybe. It's
